Every journey starts with a step. Mine begins with Burnie Toyota – Kaedyn.
Imagine starting your career with the backing of a Federal Minister, a Senator and a Policy Advisor!
That’s exactly what happened for Kaedyn, who had the incredible opportunity to share a pivotal moment in his professional journey with the Federal Minister for Skills and Training, the Honourable Andrew Giles MP, Senator Anne Urquhart and Policy Advisor Maddison Child.
They were there to celebrate as he signed up to become an apprentice with Burnie Toyota in Tasmania, where he’ll be pursuing a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
As part of a cutting-edge New Energy Apprenticeship, Kaedyn will dive into hands-on experience with electric, hybrid and traditional petrol vehicles. He’s joined a dynamic team of apprentices at Burnie Toyota, and the Minister and Senator got to hear their stories and the company’s dedication to skill development and career growth.
Kara Prichard, our State Manager for SA, who attended the event, said, “It was fantastic to see the Minister, Senator and Policy Advisor – Maddison Child, connecting with the apprentices and employers, hearing firsthand about their experiences and discussing the supports available through our Apprentice Connect Australia Provider contract. It’s clear the Government is committed to boosting completion rates and supporting Australia’s transition to a cleaner future with these New Energy Apprenticeships.”
Our team will be right there with Kaedyn every step of the way, ensuring he has the support he needs to excel and complete his training successfully.
Here’s to a bright future for Kaedyn and all the apprentices at Burnie Toyota!
