Excelled Journeys to Vibrant Futures with Mas Achieve
Mas’ new mentoring program – Mas Achieve, is the result of the collaborative and innovative approach our team has taken to ensure we meet the needs of our apprentices, both in work and life.
The program leverages skilled individuals across Mas National to build a dedicated team who will provide guidance, support, coaching and connections. This includes our skilled trainers, VET professionals, allied health professionals and First Nations advisors.
Three key service offerings will empower our apprentices to excel in their journey towards a Vibrant Future:
- Guidance and support to improve their life skills and give non-vocational support and advice
- In-work support to help them navigate the workplace and connect with employers
- Peer-to-peer networking opportunities to provide our apprentices with a space to connect to others facing similar challenges
“We recognise our apprentices are taking the first bold steps towards a fulfilling career,” explained National Support Hub and Key Client Manager Nicole Mattsson. “This presents big challenges, not just in training and professional growth, but also in life skills such as budgeting, nutrition, travel, housing and their general wellbeing. This is their team, ensuring they are not facing these challenges alone.”
Regular check ins, including in person, phone, video conferencing and use of the innovative MasConnects Apps will keep them connected to the support they need.
We would like to thank everyone who has helped take Mas Achieve from inception and development to its successful launch. Together, we have created a robust support system to address the unique challenges our apprentices face in today’s world.
