Taj Leonard Pioneers School-based Apprenticeship at Auto Masters
Taj Leonard, a Year 12 student, has just become the first school-based apprentice at Auto Masters Christie’s Beach in South Australia.
Taj is taking on the challenge of juggling his final year of school with training to become a proficient Light Vehicle Automotive Technician.
For years, Mas has been providing apprenticeship support across its 26 locations. This new apprenticeship is a landmark achievement in our ongoing collaboration with Auto Masters.
“Bringing on a school-based apprentice is a significant step forward in meeting the workforce development needs of our client, Auto Masters. There are plenty of opportunities available – it’s all about connecting with the right people. We’re committed to supporting Taj throughout his schooling and apprenticeship,” explained Tony Gavros, Mas National Operations Manager in SA.
We’re all cheering for Taj as he embarks on this exciting path to becoming a certified Vehicle Automotive Technician.
Special mention to Cardijn Marcellin Campus for their role during the sign-up process and their continued support of Taj’s career aspirations.
