Recognising the People Shaping Queensland’s Workforce Future

The Mas team was proud to attend this year’s Queensland Training Awards, which marked an impressive 65 years of recognising excellence in training and skills development across the state.

As the sponsor of the Large Employer of the Year category, Mas was honoured to support an event that celebrates the people and organisations driving Queensland’s workforce forward. During the evening, Mas CEO Ruth Hundertmark presented the Large Employer of the Year award to Cowboys Leagues Club.

The night was particularly rewarding for the Mas team, with several clients recognised for their outstanding achievements.

Congratulations to:

  • Stirling Ludwick, winner of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year award.
  • Tahlia Mundraby-Holmes, winner of the School-based Apprentice or Trainee of the Year award.

Their success reflects the dedication, skill and determination that make Queensland’s training sector so strong.

Importantly, the awards also highlighted the valuable role that apprentices, trainees, students and employers play in building capable and future-ready workforces across the state.

Mas congratulates all finalists, nominees and winners. Their achievements inspire others to pursue excellence and showcase the positive impact of vocational education and training.

As awards season continues, we look forward to celebrating more success stories and recognising the individuals and organisations making a difference in communities across Australia.
